ତହିଁରେ ସହେି ତିନି ବୀର ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ପଶିୟାଇ ବୈଥ୍ଲହମେ ନଗରଦ୍ବାର ନିକଟସ୍ଥ କୂଅରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପାଣି ଆଣିଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତହିଁରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପିଇବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମ୍ମତ ନ ହାଇେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଢାଳି ଦେଲେ।

And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that [was] by the gate, and took [it,] and brought [it] to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD.

David did not really want this, he was only talking, but the Three Heroes fought their way through the Philistine army and got some water from the well near the city gate in Bethlehem. Then they brought the water to David, but he refused to drink it. He poured it on the ground as an offering to the Lord.
